Bugaboo’s latest collaboration brings a touch of Bondi Beach to parents’ lives.
Bugaboo has joined forces with internationally recognised photographer, Gray Malin, to bring Australia’s famous Bondi Beach to life in Bugaboo’s perfect summer stroller accessory, the breezy sun canopy.
The latest collaboration with Gray Malin aims to bring a bit of the beach to parents’ everyday lives.
The collection is the latest in a long line of strong design partnerships. In 2005, Bugaboo launched its ‘Bugaboo By’ collaboration initiative, creating a travelling medium for creative statements led by iconic designers, artists and photographers.
Bright inspiration
The multi-functional breezy sun canopy provides shade and extra ventilation on hot sunny days. Its highly durable fabric is water and oil resistant, providing UPF 50+ protection while its fine mesh allows cool breezes to pass through.
When discussing the inspiration behind the collection, Gray Malin said: “Since becoming a father myself, having a bright and inspiring stroller has become really important to me. I wanted to bring a bit of sunshine to every parent’s life, even on those rainy days.
“Inspired by my beach aerial series, À la Plage, the Bugaboo by Gray Malin breezy sun canopy evokes holiday vibes for your everyday lifestyle.”
Aernout Dijkstra-Hellinga, Bugaboo’s Senior Product Developer said: “We knew there was a natural synergy between Gray’s photography and Bugaboo’s products. We both embrace colourful, playful and inspirational designs, putting innovation at the heart of all of our creations.
“This collection follows in a long line of collaborations with leading designers and artists including Missoni, Diesel, Bas Kosters and Andy Warhol to name a few.
“Each designer has added their own personal touch to Bugaboo’s 21 year history. It was a wonderful process working with Gray and we can’t wait to share the product with Bugaboo fans.”
The Bugaboo by Gray Malin is available from 8th of April in stores and online from £94.95.
