Each year, June marks PRIDE month in many parts of the world – a time to celebrate the strides made toward equality, acceptance, and inclusion that LGBTQ+ communities have made.
NHS Property Services (NHSPS) is proud to stand with the LGBTQ+ community in the UK during PRIDE month and throughout the year.
NHSPS Chief People Officer, Helen McCarthy, emphasised the importance of this commitment, stating, “At NHSPS, we ensure that every colleague feels welcome, seen, accepted, and valued.
“As we recognise and honour the progress that has been made, we also acknowledge the work that still needs to be done to create a truly equal and inclusive society for all.”
Helen continued: “With allies like NHSPS standing by the LGBTQ+ community, we can continue moving towards a better future.”
Meanwhile, Dr Min Rodriguez, NHSPS Head of Culture and Inclusion, commented, “Diversity and inclusion are crucial to NHSPS values, and we show our support for LGBTQ+ communities all year round.”
She added: “While significant strides regarding LGBTQ+ rights have been achieved, there are still challenges. So, at NHSPS, we continue to work towards a more inclusive and equal society.
“We encourage everyone to join us in celebrating PRIDE this month and every month. Happy PRIDE!”
