Warwick castle’s spookiest residents invite you to join them for haunting half-term Halloween fun!
Your whole family can explore mysterious mazes, enjoy eerie entertainment and experience frightful delights, as over 1,000 years of haunted history comes to life.
From Halloween festival entertainment to interactive experiences, you can see if you have what it takes to conquer the UK’s scariest castle.
Halloween at the Castle
You can immerse yourself in the festivities of All Hallows Eve, as the castle is transformed into a hair-raising backdrop of spooky décor, pumpkins and more. You can venture through The Haunted Hollows, meeting four spooky characters on the way, help the mischievous Reynard tell a terrifying tale in Halloween school and greet the Witches of Warwick in the Witches’ Tower. Plus, The Castle Dungeon is open every day so you can discover the castle’s most grizzly and gruesome history.
The Haunted Castle
During October half-term, the Halloween fun notches up a level for The Haunted Castle.
The Haunted Hollows returns with spooks and surprises waiting at every turn, whilst budding sorcerers can perfect their cackles, cast spells and cause mischief in the castle grounds in the Scare Schools.
The Dead Centre Stage brings the castle courtyard to life with shows and games as its motley crew of failed Victorian circus performers raise hairs and smiles with their comedy. Learn about the demise of Warwick’s ghosts in the Foolish Ghosts walkthrough adventure and help solve a mystery as high society goes silly in the Upscares and Downscares maze.
Food and drinks stalls are available and new for this year is the bigger capacity Witches Den, which hosts the Witches of Warwick during half-term.
Castle After Dark
Castle After Dark returns, inviting you to brace yourself for an evening of spine-chilling scares and frightful festival entertainment.
With three thrilling scare attractions on offer throughout the castle and grounds, you’ll find terror waiting at ever twist and turn, as you venture through the darkness.
Brand-new for 2022, The Crest leads you through spine-chilling rooms, as you discover the Countess of Warwick’s connections to the occult – and you’re invited to join a secret society.
The popular Hunted maze returns bringing its underground twists and turns back to life and inviting you to dinner at the castle. But you should beware that you don’t end up on the menu!
Fright’s Village
You can also have a fearsome family overnight stay in Fright’s Village. You will find Halloween themed décor, enjoy evening ghost stories and a visit from Warwick’s witches or wizards at breakfast.
