Two earthquakes hit near Blackpool…
This past Wednesday a magnitude 1.55 earthquake shook near Blackpool. Not soon after on Friday, a magnitude 2.1 hit again near the same area. Hundreds of people are said to have felt the quakes. Check out the full story here.
Fires spread across the Amazon…
Fire has also swept across the internet as the most recent fires in the Amazon rainforest in Brazil have sparked outrage across the world. It is said that the Amazon rainforests make up 20 per cent of the earth’s oxygen and people are worried what will be left if the fires don’t stop. Rain has helped stop some of the fire and the Brazilian government has sent in military aircrafts to help stop the rest. Check out the full story here.
Dads come together for first aid workshop…
Dads Rock have put together a first aid workshop specially for dads and men. Fathers and father figures can come together and learn the first aid basics.
This little fella’s first pride march…
Around 5,000 people showed up and showed out for Pride Cymru’s first pride march in 1999. Now the Cardiff event has grown to over 20,000 people each year. This little guy was all about pride spirit.
