Spice Girls fans leave concert in tears…
The Spice Girls kicked off their reunion tour in Dublin this past Saturday. However, it was the not the blast from the past fans expected. Many, in fact, left during the middle of the concert and even more left in tears due to the sound quality. Mel B, has stated that she hopes the sound will be, “Much better.” Read more here.
This cheese race…
Racers took to the hill in Brockworth, Gloucestershire for the annual cheese race. Four different rolls of cheese, each weighing around 3kg are chased 200 yards down the hill. This race has been said to have started centuries ago in celebration of spring.
New bank notes have been released…
New €100 and €200 are now in circulation. These new notes boast innovative technology to fight against counterfeiting and are even more durable.
Aladdin surpasses all expectations…
Aladdin earned $86 million in its first three days, putting movie critics in their place after many negative predications that the live action remake would not be successful. In international sales, Aladdin has brought $121 million. It looks like Will Smith as the genie wasn’t such a bad idea after all.
