List your property
According to The Advisory, an independent advice group for home sellers, the best time to list a property is between August and October. RightMove suggests a finer deadline of 14th October for those who want a shorter time on market. Find the right conveyancing solicitor
Conveyancing is the process of legally transferring ownership. It is possible (although difficult) do the conveyancing yourself, so long as you’re not taking out a mortgage. When getting a quote, the solicitor will outline what’s included in their fees as well as any additional disbursements.
It’s wise to engage a solicitor as soon as your house is on the market. They can do all the necessary background checks and prepare the sales contract in advance so it’s ready to hand to a prospective buyer straight away.
